A Face A Day: Charcoal Pencil

Harry Kent : Art Informel by husdant

Haven’t touched charcoal in years till I picked up some charcoal pencils a week or two back. Some things don’t leave you… and some things you never had to begin with. I’ll learn as I go.

I also need to learn how to photograph drawings. This paper is just a tad bigger than my scanner bed and it’s not all that large. The thing with charcoal and chalk are–they want to be big.
